What we collect

• Email address — only if you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter (processed via Brevo).
• Personal reading details — the name, date of birth, email, and dream description you submit when ordering a paid reading.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Anonymous analytics — aggregate, anonymised usage data to improve the site (e.g. Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics with IP anonymisation).
• Local storage — your dream journal entries, poll votes, and ratings are stored only in your own browser and are never sent to us.

How we use your data

We use your email to send the content you requested and our newsletter (with double opt-in). We use reading details solely to prepare your personal interpretation. We use anonymous analytics to understand and improve how the site is used. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (newsletter, cookies) and to fulfil a contract (delivering a paid reading you ordered).

Third parties

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service: Brevo (email), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google (analytics), and Formspree (contact form). Each maintains its own GDPR-compliant safeguards.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for anonymous analytics. On your first visit you can accept or decline via our cookie banner; your choice is stored in the mydreamshub-consent cookie. Essential functionality (like your dream journal) uses local storage, not tracking cookies.

Your GDPR rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to withdraw consent at any time; to object to or restrict processing; and to data portability. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. To exercise any right, email contact@mydreamshub.com.

Data retention

We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and reading details only as long as needed to deliver and support your order. You may request deletion at any time.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
