MyDreamsHub (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The site is operated by Praveen, based in Berlin, Germany. Contact: contact@mydreamshub.com.

What we collect

• Email address — only if you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter (processed via Brevo).
• Personal reading details — the name, date of birth, email, and dream description you submit when ordering a paid reading.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Anonymous analytics — aggregate, anonymised usage data to improve the site (e.g. Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics with IP anonymisation).
• Local storage — your dream journal entries, poll votes, and ratings are stored only in your own browser and are never sent to us.

How we use your data

We use your email to send our welcome email and newsletter. We use reading details solely to prepare your personal interpretation. We use anonymous analytics to understand and improve how the site is used. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (newsletter, cookies) and to fulfil a contract (delivering a paid reading you ordered).

Third parties

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service: Brevo (email, including contact-form messages), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Google (analytics and advertising). Each maintains its own GDPR-compliant safeguards.

Advertising

MyDreamsHub shows display ads through Google AdSense, which helps keep the dream dictionary and tools free. Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve and measure those ads, and depending on your ad settings the ads may be personalised — including remarketing — based on your visits to this site and to other websites. If you are in the EEA or the UK, Google asks for your consent before setting personalised-advertising cookies, and you can change that choice at any time.

No dream interpretation or reading is shaped by an advertiser, and advertisers never see a page before it is published. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for anonymous analytics, and Google sets the advertising cookies described above. On your first visit you can accept or decline via our cookie banner; your choice is stored in the mydreamshub-consent cookie. Essential functionality (like your dream journal) uses local storage, not tracking cookies.

Your GDPR rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to withdraw consent at any time; to object to or restrict processing; and to data portability. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. To exercise any right, email contact@mydreamshub.com.

Data retention

We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and reading details only as long as needed to deliver and support your order. You may request deletion at any time.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
